Hannah Holloway, born in Cedar City, Utah, is a visual artist and aspiring scientific illustrator. A childhood filled with camping, hiking, and long road trips through the scenic landscapes of the Western United States led to a fascination with the natural world; a love of reading introduced her to the world of illustration at a young age. She doodled her way through high school, dabbling in painting, animation, and ceramics. She began studying Fine Arts at Snow College, and then studied Illustration at Southern Utah University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2019.
To Hannah, art is meant to capture moments in time that would otherwise be impossible to share. A camera can record an image, but a painting can tell a story. |
